Thanks mate. How do you stop yourself from panicking in the first place though?

I think it can only be done through repetitions of mindfulness. Constantly working on further separating the gap between stressors and response.

A deep breath and the knowledge that whatever it is, it's probably not the end of the earth.

Yeah, I think we need to remind ourselves semi-regularly that usually things aren't ever as bad as we worry they will be and that nothing good ever comes from panicking. I think it's something we need to stay on top of rather than a lesson you learn once and sticks with you forever.
