I'm jealous that you've finished it already! While I've been listening to it in chunks I did actually think of you listening and painting and wondering what your thoughts are on it. I still have about 4 hours to go. What a great book! (It's actually not even his newest book! I'm looking forward to the added extras at the end given it's publication in 2015 and all the other research plus 2 other books he has published since).

I think it's a book everyone should read/listen to.

Would also like to add you're only human and want to remind you to give yourself love and kindness, especially in difficult times (aka being away from work out of routine and an added sore back) <3

I don’t know how I didn’t know about it already? I assumed it was new because it was new on audible. It’s so fucking good! It’s exactly the kind of stuff I’ve been preaching.

Thanks Clare. I’ve been able to be surprisingly gentle on myself. Understanding that sometimes you just can’t do everything and that it’s okay to lower your own expectation on yourself when shit happens. I know I’ll get back into the swing when life permits and I’m finding peace in that. It’s not like I’m doing nothing or not doing the things I want to do by choice. I’m still being productive.

Haha yeah! It's new in audible because the Johann narrated version was just recently released :). I saw Johann post on instagram that it was now available as I'd previously looked it up and saw it was narrated by him and decided I might read it instead. When I saw the post I went and purchased but got the other version instead! Audible were very good! I contacted them to ask for a credit refund so I could swap it and was credited immediately :).

I did the exact same thing! Always in a bloody rush! I’ll have to contact them.

I think it’s part of getting older and also seeking a better understanding of ourselves kinda.

I was still doing the breath work stuff when I was away. Just not sleeping, eating or exercising as normal. I can fix the food thing through better planning and organisation. The other stuff will have to come from me prioritising it and not being in such a rush to get home.

Yeah I’ve started doing that but I need to get better at it. Maybe dedicate 10 mins each arvo planning for the next day.
