People like analogies for different reasons... and you come up with some rippers!

I’m a big fan of the emotional driver vs the practical driver analogy and it’s amazing the power it can give you by just sitting back and enjoying the doughnuts as best you can.

And every time you take back the wheel, you’ve got another example of being able to ride it out, which should make the next experience more bearable.

Keep thinking about these things the way you are mate, you’ve got a unique perspective and a way with words that’s helping me make sense of the world just that little bit more.

Thanks mate. They’re like opinions. None of them are wrong. You just need to find a way to explain it to yourself that makes sense to you. If it helps, it helps.

Seems there’s a bit of a theme lately about repetition. Things getting easier every time you do it. I’m a big fan of it. Reminds me of a bloke who said CALLUS YOUR FUCKING MIND!!!!

I'm surprised in that wisdom from Gus as he was spot on, and great stuff explaining the can/thought sorting analogy. How do I empty my too hard basket? A few things: 1. I write about the things that are in it to get the thoughts out of my head and onto paper where I can visually see them. 2. Make a plan to deal with each thing which usually involves talking to a person I know who I think knows how to deal with each thing.
