Eduction to date has been this is good, this is bad, that person is bad, that person is good. People make mistakes (do bad things), it doesn't make them a bad person.
Drugs, alcohol, crime, violence are all signs of some form of dysregulation. Instead of love and rehabilitation these people get shame and isolation and it exacerbates it.
