Thanks for sharing Sam. I find it interesting you frame it as the loss they had to have. In a few years, maybe earlier, you'll see it as your best grand final win.
It's been a pleasure to read your journey. I love the word by the way.
Like David Warner said. We don't play cricket to be role models. You likely didn't do this for anyone but you and your family. But you're an inspiration regardless.
I just felt like I was at a point where I was going to go one of two directions. The easy option would have netted bad results. In the end there wasn’t really much of a decision to make, I just did what I had to do, and it was hard. I only really mean the year was the loss I needed to have in terms of all the hard shit I had to do at once. I know that I’ll look back on this year as the one that turned it all around for me. I’ve hit my low some time ago now and I’m on the way back up on a good trajectory.
You’re a bloody champion mate! I love your brutal honesty, openness and willingness to share your most inner thoughts and feelings. I’ve definitely learned a thing or two to add to my own approach on life. Here’s to an awesome 2023 and beyond!!!
Thanks, legend. As someone who well and truly knew me when I was doing lots of dumb shit, your words carry significant weight, because you saw what it was like. Watching what you’ve achieved in recent times digging yourself out of that hole and again with your health has been equally inspiring, mate. Who knows, maybe we’re starting to grow up? Hopefully catch up sooner rather than later!

Thanks Josh,

And I never meant to help anyone. But once I heard a few people say that it did help, I felt obligated to keep sharing. It’s the least I can do.
"Being an asshole to yourself doesn’t make sense"
Quote of the year 👌👏
Rippa of a read again mate. Proud of how you've turned it around. Just incredible.
Thanks, mate. Doesn't happen with a little bit of help from a whole lot of people. Excited for the future.

Thanks heaps mate. Glad to have helped even if it’s been a tiny bit. Let’s get this Arthur done!
Great stuff mate and thanks for the shout out!
What a year. Keen to do more than just stretch 2023’s ears lol
Me too! I'm fired up to go as deep as I can!

And it's so much better. I can't believe I was afraid of this, and prioritising that!
If you do as he says it will work. He is THE guru.
Let me know as far in advance as possible and I'll save ya paying for a place.
